Master's Degree

Admission requirements

The student must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences with a GPA of good at least and a grade of at least very good in the average of the Courses in the specialization branch determined by the relevant Department Council.

1 - That the student devotes himself during his studies for at least two days per week.

2- The student’s enrollment in postgraduate studies will be canceled if he does not obtain a Master’s Degree within four years from the date of his enrollment. The student’s enrollment may be extended after that at the request of the main Supervisor, the recommendation of the relevant Department Council and the approval of the Faculty Council, up to a maximum of one Gregorian year.

Conditions for awarding the degree

The student studies courses with at least 30 credit hours of graduate courses, including compulsory courses (18 credit hours) and elective courses (12 credit hours) from within or outside the specialization branch.

1 - The student submits a Master's thesis, which includes research conducted for at least two years from the date of his registration.

2 - The student provides evidence that he has learned computer skills.

3 - The student submits a certificate stating that he is qualified in the English language from one of the approved language centers or an Egyptian University.

Registration Requests Submission

In all programs offered by the Faculty, registration is open twice in the academic year, during the first half of January for the second semester, and during the first half of August for the first semester. Applications are submitted to the employee in charge of the Graduate Studies Department at the Faculty

 

 

Tuition fees

200 Egyptian pounds for the year of enrollment and 165 Egyptian pounds for each year following the year of enrollment for Egyptian students working in research centers and institutes.

455 EGP for the year of enrollment and 215 EGP for each year following the year of enrollment for Egyptian students working as agricultural engineers.

425 pounds for research support fees to be paid each academic year.

3,200 £ (Pound Sterling) for the year of enrollment, then 1,500 £ (Pound Sterling) for each year following the year of enrollment for non-Egyptians.
