Documents required for a Master's Degree

1- Bachelor's degree with grades.

2- A temporary Bachelor’s Degree (at least “good” GPA and a grade of “very good” in the average of the specialization Courses).

3- Recruitment status for male students.

4- 6 personal photos.

5- Birth Certificate.

6- Acknowledgment of vacancy

7- The approval of the employer

8- A copy of the national ID

9- The student submits evidence that he has obtained the International Computer Driving License (ICDL) or the European License (ECDL) from one of the approved centers.

10- The forms on the CD in the Department of Postgraduate Studies at the Faculty must be filled out accurately on the computer and not in handwriting.

11- The student writes the declaration of tuition fees, as well as the undertaking to submit research requirements.

12- The applications must be submitted in a special file for the student stating the following:

A- The full name as mentioned in the Birth Certificate

B- The degree to be registered in.

C- The branch or Department to be registered in.

D- Job and place of work in detail.

E- Home address in detail.

G - Home phone - mobile phone.

13- Receipt of payment of tuition fees, provided that it is submitted no later than one month from the approval of the Faculty Council on registration

 

Documents required for a PhD degree

1- A Bachelor's degree with GPA (at least a good grade).

2- A Master's degree with grades (at least very good).

3- Recruitment status for male students.

4- 6 personal photos.

5- Birth certificate.

6- Acknowledgment of vacancy.

7- The approval of the employer

8- A copy of the national ID

9- The student must have obtained a Master's degree in Agricultural Sciences with a GPA of very good at least, upon registration, provided that the date of obtaining the Master's degree does not exceed 5 years.

10- The student submits proof of having obtained the International Computer Driving License (ICDL) or the European License (ECDL) from one of the accredited centers.

11- The student submits a letter of recommendation from one of the supervisors at the Master's level stating his eligibility to continue studying for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.

12- The forms on the CD in the Department of Graduate Studies at the Faculty must be filled out accurately on the computer and not in handwriting.

13- The student writes the declaration of tuition fees, as well as the undertaking to submit research requirements.

14- The applications must be submitted in a special file for the student stating the following:

A- The full name as mentioned in the Birth Certificate

B- The degree to be registered in.

C- The branch or Department to be registered in.

D- Job and place of work in detail.

E- Home address in detail.

G - Home phone - Mobile phone.

PhD Degree Requirements

Information Forms

1- Collective report (original + 3 photos)

2- Individual report for each doctor (original + 3 photos)

3- Reward request form (supervision + discussion)

4- The Arabic extract (original + 3 copies), signed by the supervisor.

5- The English extract (original + 3 copies), signed by the supervisor.

6- The statement of the patent application written in clear handwriting.

7- Six copies of the thesis, signed by the Vice Dean + stamp.

8- The information form (2 copies) to be written and signed by the supervisors and the student.

9- Five CDs with the information form and the thesis in one consolidated file without separation in both PDF + word formats.

10- The thesis summary should be 15 pages and should contain the following:

1- Cover page

2- Approval sheet (Signed by the examinees)

3- Abstract

4- Introduction

5- Aim of work

6- Review

7- Summary

8- Conclusions

11-Theses are to be printed in Cairo University Press. The printing notice and receipt must be handed in.

NB:

The student must follow up with the employee in charge of granting the degree in the administration to review the papers, deliver the letters and bring the delivery receipts after the Faculty Council.
